CEO & Co-Founder
Despite his current position, Mark proudly and intentionally avoided all things computer or math related in college in favor of focusing on journalism and advertising. Shortly after graduation, however, he stumbled into a sales job at a small software company and his love of the industry was born. Mark eventually became interested in other aspects of software, with this curiosity leading to roles as a business analyst, programmer and an independent consultant. This well-rounded background in the software business proved fruitful when Mark started Equus with co-founder Leonard Schuele in 1999, serving the nascent relocation technology industry. Global mobility perfectly complements Mark’s love of travel, which began when a failed early business venture led to him “dropping out” to backpack the world for a year and a half, meeting his future wife Lesley along the way. In his free time, Mark enjoys watching his local sports teams and taking advantage of Colorado’s many recreational opportunities - on a bike, with a backpack or just relaxing with a craft beer in a mountain town.

VP Technology Solutions
Alan spent his time at University studying Politics and Constitutional Law, before quickly realizing that Elected Office was not the life for him. Having inherited itchy feet from his Grandfather, Alan always knew he wanted to travel, thus beginning a 21-year career in Global Mobility. A lifetime of moving from country to country began with a career in Expatriate Tax with Arthur Andersen in London. Following assignments in New York and Sydney, Alan returned to London, where his career path took him from the Big 4 to Head of Mobility at Unilever. A new assignment in Singapore beckoned before he returned back to New York, working with Equus to support clients with our technology solutions. Still the global nomad, Alan spends most of his time traveling, meeting clients, and exploring new places around the world.
Head of UK Operations
Like so many at Equus, Vicki has been motivated by global learning and travel since her University days, where she studied the economics of as many different countries as possible with a view to living in one of them. After graduation, she worked in Japan for 10 years as an English Teacher before discovering Global Mobility when she repatriated and went to work for a Japanese company. Clueless as to what an ‘Expatriate Coordinator’ was at the time, Vicki’s Mobility career grew to encompass project managing vendor RFPs and technology implementations, service delivery design and program change management. Leading EMEA sales keeps Vicki at the cutting edge of the mobility industry via technology solutions consulting, while also satisfying her inner teacher through regular industry presentations and events. Still a wanderer at heart, Vicki loves culture, cooking and writing and her weekends are usually spent developing her latest Indian recipe, shopping for kitchen gadgets, or working on the design of her new kitchen for her current real-estate project – converting a school into a house.
After receiving her Master’s Degree in International Relations, Sheri has spent the last 17 years working in the field of international human resources. Her desire to visit every country at least once, along with her interest in understanding other cultures, led her to pursue a career in global mobility. And while she hasn’t yet checked every country off the list, Sheri’s work with organizations around the world has brought her considerable progress. She has worked with a wide and varied client base, providing expatriate program management both on the industry side and in an outsourcing environment, as well as consulting services focusing on the design and implementation of effective international compensation policies, global mobility strategy and program design. As proud as Sheri is of her international work, she is most proud of her two children! She has passed her love for sports on to her kids, who play football, basketball, soccer and volleyball, and on any given day you can find her in the stands cheering them on.
Tim jumped straight in to the global mobility industry straight out of university. Much of his career has been spent leading regional and global mobility programmes in-house for well-known multinational organisations in the financial services, consumer goods and technology sectors. He also has experience consulting in the Big 4, as well as working as an independent consultant advising a broad range of clients on how to establish and develop their global mobility programmes. Tim’s particular area of interest within mobility is in how it’s used to facilitate talent development – this stems from his MSc degree in Strategic Training and Development from the University of Surrey. In September of 2016, Tim joined the Equus as the VP of Technology Solutions where he jointly leads business development in EMEA and Asia. Having grown up in London he now enjoys living in the English countryside with his family. He was dared to run in a Tough Mudder event a few years ago and has run one of their events every year since!
Always seeking knowledge, Vickie’s career has spanned various areas of finance and technology. Though her career began with a decade spent in financial and technology audit in a Big4 and later as VP technology audit of a MNC, she was determined to gain and master additional tax training. Even after gaining a Canadian CA and U.S. CPA, Vickie went on to earn a Master’s degree in Taxation. The unique experiences at the beginning of her career laid the foundation for strong process and control management, which, combined with her impressive tax credentials, make her the perfect fit as Equus’ Tax Director. Vickie loves to talk tax, especially about how countries use different tax policy to raise revenue and influence behavior, ideal for her role in developing, maintaining and implementing Equus’ tax products.

Greg has hired over half of the Product Team, managing developers and overseeing the software development process.
