Equus Software, the leading provider of software for workforce mobility, announced today that it is extending its product line to include a global relocation management software platform specifically targeted to relocation service providers and Human Resource Outsourcing firms. The system, code-named GMS, is a web-based software solution that provides many benefits for companies managing U.S. domestic relocations. GMS will be available mid-2006.

Equus is working with experienced relocation industry consultants and relocation companies to build the state-of-the-art software solution. GMS is fully integrated with the AssignmentPro global assignment management product and Equus' US domestic tax gross-up software. GMS is designed from the ground-up to be extremely flexible and to allow a relocation company to "custom fit" the product to its best practice business processes without resorting to reprogramming or extensive modification.

GMS is a virtual communication platform tying together all relocation stakeholders. The software includes extensive supplier management, including ratings and custom surveys, built-in data connections with suppliers, and web portals for clients, employees and suppliers. Features like document management, workflow, referral calculations and tracking, billing and automated communications can all provide immediate benefits and cost-savings to a relocation service provider or HRO.

GMS is built on the same web-based technology platform as AssignmentPro, Equus' global assignment software package. GMS offers extensive core functionality to relocation companies, including home sale management, household goods management, destination services, expense management and policy set-up and exception tracking. The most significant benefits to Equus customers using GMS are flexibility, control and independence.
